All that is worthreading - the journey begins

The maverick Marat Safin groans as he loses is temper once again in the middle of an all important encounter. One that could have changed his life forever. This two time Grand slam champion who was nowhere in the radar when the season of grass begun. As Star sports readied to telecast Wimbledon for the 17th straight time in its channel, this Russian marauder was a name even the most astute punter would not have had on his mind on the list of thosewho would make it to the last four.

The hallowed portals of Wimbledon has seen many great surprises and the mercurial Safin proved that theory once again when he despatched Novak Djokovic in the 2nd round. The ups and downs of an individual was there for everyone to see again.

Today however we saw the angry man who was howling everytime he hit one out. In fact the crowds that have come to witness the battle in these hallowed turfs enjoyed this un-gentlemanly behaviour from the 6ft 4 inch giant. The champion was helped by this and Roger took just an hour and 40 minutes to reach his sixth straight Wimbledon final.

An interesting possibilty of Rafa vs Roger is on the cards. Will Nadal continue his form from the clay courts and dispatch the defending champion, will Safin ever become level headed to realise his full potential, will Lewis hamilton - the bad boy driver of F1 clinch this weekend's grand prix? Lets wait and watch this Sunday.

till then ...Keep reading allthatisworthreading
